Wow... I am in a little bit of shock that it has been nearly a year since I have posted a blog. I guess I have not had anything important to say for a while, or have I?
Over the past year I have read numerous books, attended numerous conferences, listened to hours of motivational CD's, all the time looking and searching for my true meaning of life. My son said to me one day, "Mom, I figured out the true meaning of life... to find YOUR true meaning of life." Holy crap... He is so right. I have been looking for something and now I realized it was my true meaning of life and I didn't even know it. The meaning of life is different for everyone... and therefore the message is always different for all of us.
It is not important from whom the message is spoken... What is important, is that YOU hear the message.
Let's just say the message appears out of nowhere and then it is gone. You barely hear a whisper of it in the breeze, and before you can wrap a thought around it, it is gone. Subconsciously we dismiss it before we hear it. The message is spoken in passing, dismissed yet again. Over and over the message is spoken; only to fall on deaf ears. It has been spoken by friends, relatives, and in some cases, complete strangers. I can't physically list all who delivered my message to me, but once I heard it I recognized that I had heard it before.
What is the message, you might ask, it is different for everyone. When you finally hear it you will know the very moment that you hear it... and not a moment before.
How do we decide to finally hear the message. For many of us it is in our last moment of sanity, perhaps our realization we have been on the wrong job path, in the wrong relationship, the list goes on and on. We have known it in our gut for a long time something is not right but the message never seemed to penetrate our shield. When ever you hear the message it will be at the perfect moment. This is exactly what I needed to hear.
Life's journey has brought me on a path of personal growth. I am grateful for all who have gone before me and have helped me, and I am thankful that I am able to help others do the same. Become a better YOU!
When you hear YOUR message... be ready, because it will be the ride of your life.
